About

Dr. Raquel Andres holds a PhD in Biometrics and Statistics with specialization in non-parametric methods. With over 20 publications, she is co-author and biostatistician of research studies published in top rank medical journals such as the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), the American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) and Pediatric Emergency Care and Vaccine.

IMG_3594During her graduate years she worked as a fellow researcher at the London School of Economics. After she earned her doctorate Dr. Andres worked as biostatistician at Columbia University Medical Center and at the Mailman School of Public Health and pioneered research on mobile health.

During her extensive career as biostatistician she has provided advice to many PhD- and master-level students with their dissertations from the various fields of Medicine, Psychology, Sociology, Education and Economy. She also provides ongoing statistical research support to research universities and hospitals such as the University of Utah, University of Pennsylvania and the Cleveland Clinic of Ohio.

Dr. Andres has expertise in working with various statistical packages such as SPSS and  Stata, R and SAS.
